Clean your electric kettle from limescale with one ingredient

Electric kettle

Probably, most of us have been in a situation to drop our electric kettle in the garbage because of limescale. Sometimes we can remove it with scraping and some detergent but it isn’t enough. Here is a tip for you to make it perfectly clean. You will need only one ingredient that most of us already have in the kitchen.

Citric acid for clean electric kettle

Try this life hack for saving your money and easy cleaning.

As you know, limescale appears in a very short time in this kitchen appliance because we boil water in it every day. That layers of limescale can destroy the heater or the whole inside. But, it’s good to know that you only need a few minutes to finish this process. With this tip, you will prolong the duration of your device.

Use one bag of citric acid ( 10g or 0.02lbs ). Put it in the electric kettle and then pour it with water to the full. So, now turn it on and leave it to boil. If you can smell citric acid inside after this don’t worry. Just boil clean water 2-3 times more to wash away the smell.
This trick will clean your electric kettle from limescale very easily. It’s going to be shiny and clean again.

Hope you try it if you need something like this. Do this regularly and this advice will save time and money for you.
